Anthonij (Anton) Rudolf Mauve (18 Wrzesień 1838 – 5 Luty 1888) był niderlandzkim malarzem realistą i wiodącym przedstawicielem Szkoły Haskiej. Wywarły znaczący wpływ na wczesną twórczość Vincenta van Gogha.

Mauve jest wymieniony 152 razy w listach van Gogha.

Van Gogh pod koniec 1881 r. spędził trzy tygodnie w studiu malarskim Mauvego. W tym czasie van Gogh uczył się u niego malarstwa. Najpierw farbami olejnymi, potem na początku kolejnego roku akwarelami. Mauve wspierał van Gogha finansowo: pożyczył mu pieniądze na wynajem pracowni malarskiej.
